AAP leader congratulates Parineeti Chopra, Raghav Chadha for their ‘union’ amid wedding rumours

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjeev Arora on Tuesday congratulated actor Parineeti Chopra and his fellow party leader Raghav Chadha for a blessed “union” amid speculations that the couple is soon going to tie the knot. Chopra was recently spotted leaving a restaurant with Chadha, sparking dating rumours.

Even as the duo has maintained stoic silence, Arora, Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, took to Twitter and congratulated them–tagging both Chopra and Chadha–amid their wedding rumours. “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to @raghav_chadha and @ParineetiChopra. May their union be blessed with an abundance of love, joy, and companionship. My best wishes!!!” he tweeted.

Many Twitter users wondered the context of his tweet, since Chopra and Chadha are yet to confirm or deny the speculations while others congratulated the couple, deeming Arora’s tweet as an official confirmation.

Soon after Chopra and Chadha were spotted together in Mumbai, their videos and pictures soon went viral, with even Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar making a note of it.

Last week, when Chadha requested him to allow him to raise the issue of fugitive diamond merchant Mehul Choksi, Dhankar said, “You already occupy enough space on social media. This may be a day of silence for you.” Later, responding to a reporter while leaving Parliament, Chadha said with a smile: “Aap mujhse rajneeti ki sawal kariye, Parineeti ki sawal na kariye (you ask me questions on politics, not Parineeti)…”
